Often elusive, this unique chocolate brown coloured, medium density hardwood features black streaks and a prominent pale sap wood inclusion. Grown across New Zealand in plantation lots planted in excess of 30 years, these trees yield a beautiful timber flooring. Blackwood works well for creating rustic character.
